It is located within our campground which also offers RV sites, kitchenettes and Day Parking. Ouachita Baptist Assembly campground is an alcohol and smoke free environment. We have no internet access at the cabin and cell service is spotty. We are near the Wolf Pen Gap trails, so bring your ATV to enjoy their trails. We are 12 miles from Mena's Hwy 71 and Hwy 8 junction, about 20 minutes away from restaurants and other amenities in Mena proper.

It is extremely dry meaning that there is no alcohol to be purchased within atleast an hour drive of town so make sure you come well stocked if that's your thing. We provide the towels, coffee filters, and toilet paper. You provide the good times! There is also a full size washer and dryer in the bedroom that you are more than welcome to use while you are there. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers and the cabin is located only about a mile from the Wolfpen Gap trailhead which offers miles and miles of some of the most scenic riding anywhere. Great place to get a little mud on the tires! Don't forget to hike around the woods while you're out there as well! Come in the springtime to witness the blooming of all of the dogwood trees. The cabin sits on several wooded acres, near the border of the National Forest, and only about 800 ft. from the County Road 402, which is a picturesque way to ride to Wolfpen Gap, one of the largest trail parks in the state. We are just 5 minutes from the charming county seat town of Mena, with its nice art district, good antique shops, and old-timey downtown with the original buildings from the time the railroads were built and the town was born. Yet we do have a 24/7 Walmart, a live theater, movie theater, and lots of festivals. The open concept living room's focal point is the patio door that looks out on the deck and the stream and wooded hillside. We provide a cozy faux woodstove fireplace (it’s electric, an easy way to take the chill off on cool evenings as well as contribute to the cozy ambiance) in addition to gas heat and air. There is a very comfortable queen-size sealy posturpedic bed in a little private room, and there are two full-size loft beds up ladder or narrow stairway, room for 6 people to stay. The rate is for 2 adults and two children under 12; additional adults are only $10, additional kiddos are just $5. There is a TV (no cable) with DVD with a selection of movies! Of course, there is Internet access too. The bathroom has a vanity sink and fullsize tub with shower, and plenty of nice towels, soaps and shampoo and conditioner. The charming banquette eating area is in the little kitchen which is equipped with full-size refrigerator, regular size stove with oven, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, pots and pans. We also stock basic staples such as coffee, sugar, tea, salt and pepper. The local water here is so good you will not want bottled water, and has been tested periodically for safety. The quiet, paved Polk County Road 42 is good for hiking, biking, or just a leisurely stroll after supper to enjoy nature. If you like wildlife-watching, just sit outside on your little deck in the morning or maybe at sunset and don't be surprised if you see squirrels and birds watching you. We will keep a supply of feed available to give them a treat. The wooden rocker on the deck is close to the hummingbird feeder, so you get a close-up view of the tiny hummers, and they are quite tame. A green sign with #300 is posted on a tree just past the driveway. This will be the next driveway on the right after passing rock mailbox #278. If you reach mail box #300, you just missed the driveway on the right. PARKING: Please park to the left in front of the door to allow room for a second car to park to your right. KAYAKS & CREEK: There are 3 ORANGE kayaks and 1 yellow kayak, paddles, & adult life jackets available for use during your stay. The kayaks & life jackets are hanging from the backside of the deck. Generally, the creek flows slow enough that you can paddle upstream. After about 1/2 mile downstream there are some large rocks in the middle. This is a point where you will turn around or have arrangements made for pick up downstream. You cannot walk back. The creek is full of fish where the water gets deeper so feel free to bring your poles and tackle.
